Ramesh's latest creation 'Butterfly' recently played to sold-out audiences at the Beacon Arts Centre in Greenock and then the Esplanade in his home country of Singapore. The show will go on a full Scottish tour in January/February 2015. This striking adaptation of Madame Butterfly, explores themes of love, disappointment, loss and hope, and uses visually poetic narrative and beautiful, handcrafted puppets to tell the tragic tale of Butterfly, a kitemaker, whose lover has left her, alone and isolated.
